Our Benchmarks feature provides a visual comparison between your current fraud score and the average score of the Fraud Blocker community.
By analyzing data from our approximately 4,700 active users (as of Q1 2026), we provide a transparent look at where your traffic stands in relation to the wider ecosystem. This helps you determine if your fraud levels are typical for the current campaigns or if your account requires further optimization.
How is the Benchmark calculated?
To ensure the data is accurate and actionable, we calculate the average using the following criteria:
90-Day Rolling Window: The average is based on a rolling 90-day window of data from all active Fraud Blocker users.
Data Normalization: We automatically remove "edge cases" from this calculation. By excluding extreme high and low outliers, we ensure the benchmark reflects a true, reliable average.

How to improve your score
If your fraud score is higher than the community average, it may indicate that your site is being targeted by more sophisticated bots or malicious actors.
You can help lower your score and improve your protection by following these steps:
Adjust Your Customizations: Review your Scoring Customizations to ensure your blocking rules are optimized for your specific traffic patterns.
Activate Optional Setup Features: We offer 3 optional items in our main setup menu:
Enable Email Spam Prevention: Stop fraudulent form fills and lead quality issues by setting up Email Spam Protection.
Activate Instant Performance Boost: For the most immediate results, ensure you are utilizing our Best Exclusions feature to automatically block the highest-risk traffic sources.
Enable Conversion Tracking (Under "Advanced Setup"): Adding our conversion script allows us to track if a user converted to a sale on your website. If a user converts, then our system will avoid blocking them in the future.
